The Thomas University Humanities’ book club has garners support of several superb discussion leaders from TU, Florida State and the Thomasville community. Discussions focus on books of current interest as well as the classics.
TU Humanities faculty member Dr. Bonnie Woodbery and Jim Hughes will host a discussion of Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. The New York Times Book Review lauded this author as a modern-day Mark Twain.
Saunders won this year's Man Booker prize for Lincoln In The Bardo.
The book club meets in The Campus Center on the Forbes Campus at 1501 Millpond Road.
The Campus Center is across the quad from Smith Bonvillian Hall.
