The Tell-Tale Heart & Other Stories

Join us for a night of food, drinks, thrills & chills on Halloween weekend. This rich performance will include theatrical readings of some of Poe’s short stories, as well as original theatrical interpretations of his works, featuring talented local actors.

Edgar Allan Poe was an American author known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre. He is widely regarded as a central figure of Romanticism in American literature.

Several of Poe’s most famous short works of fiction will be transcribed for our October shows full of thrills and chills and perhaps a few spills! An exciting and mildly scary romp through great literature.

This show will be held in the historic upstairs theater of the Monticello Opera House, with dinner and drinks beforehand in the beautiful downstairs banquet hall. Dinner is provided by Carrie Ann & Co.
