The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park invites you to come learn about the Fascinating World of Fungi!
Sam Landes of The Mushroom Club of Georgia will give an hour-long presentation about fungi, then will lead a guided walk through the gardens or trails in search of mushrooms! Mr. Landes has been the Treasurer of the Mushroom Club of Georgia since 2010 and his wife, Cornelia Cho, is the President. He began hunting morels with his mother when he was five years old. The Mushroom Club of Georgia's purpose is to promote the enjoyment and study of wild mushrooms.
