Tallahassee Genealogical Soc. Meeting - US States and Their Vital Records

U.S. civil governments have created records of births, marriages, and deaths for decades. Records containing this information are commonly called “vital records,” because they refer to critical events in a person’s life.

We will be discussing how each state has its own laws and types of government offices that hold these records, as well as  where you may locate the records.
