Spooktacular: Silent Film "Hunchback of Notre Dame"

St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Tallahassee Chapter of the American Guild of Organists are proud to present their Eighth Annual Halloween Organ Spooktacular on Friday, October 20th at 7 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church downtown, 211 N. Monroe Street. This year’s family-oriented event will feature a screening of the 1923 silent film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, with live organ accompaniment improvised by Patrick A. Scott, Assistant Organist–Choirmaster at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta. Those planning to attend—particularly the young— are encouraged to come in their scariest costumes!

This fun activity provides a rare opportunity to experience a horror film as it was originally presented in the Roaring Twenties. Free parking is available in the two St. John’s Episcopal Church lots off Call Street, between Calhoun and Gadsden Streets. Admission to the film is free and open to the public; donations will be accepted at the door.
