Opera in Cuba - Benefit Concert June 16th at 7 PM

We are a group of opera singers from Florida State University. We have been honored to receive an invitation to perform with the Teatro Lirico Nacional de Cuba on the stage of El Gran Teatro de la Habana, Cuba’s most prominent classical performance stage. We will be collaborating with members of the Cuban National Opera Company, musicians from the National Symphony, and dancers from the world-renowned National Ballet of Cuba.

Please join us at our upcoming benefit concert, as we fundraise for this incredible opportunity of musical and cultural exchange in Cuba. There is no admission charge for the benefit concert, but all donations will be truly appreciated and will support our travel, accommodations, and other living expenses while in Havana, Cuba. We will be singing a selection of varied music from Cuban song to 18th century opera, featuring works by Purcell, Hansel, Granados, Turina, Grever, Halffter, and more.
