Midtown Reader Book of the Month Club - Dispatches from Syria

This month’s book club will be led by C.D. Davidson-Hiers, a staff writer and news assistant at the Tallahassee Democrat. The Morning They Came for Us is a tour de force of war reportage that examines the brutal, internecine conflict in Syria and the culpability of outside powers through the stories of ordinary men, women, and children who have been made to suffer. A journalists’ perspective should lend to an interesting and educational discussion; don’t miss this event!
