A Town Divided, an original production based loosely on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, is written from interviews and stories of Tallahassee residents and examines the racial divides in our own city.
Raw, intense, and emotional, this 50-minute play invites participants to examine their own biases and prejudices in an effort to raise social awareness, increase tolerance, and bridge the divides through cross-racial dialogue.
Community talk-back to follow, moderated by The Village Square.
Please be advised this play contains mature subject matter.
