6 Week Stained Glass class

A perfect class for beginners! Our 6 Week Stained Glass classes are suitable for ages 16 and older and include scheduled class time with instruction as well as open studio hours for practice, use of studio tools, and equipment.

Students will explore the properties of stained glass as an art-making material. The 6 Week Stained Glass class focuses on techniques such as glass cutting, grinding, pattern design, soldering, framing, adding patina, and finishing stained glass art. Learn to create your own unique dishes, jewelry, or artwork.

Instructor provides individual guidance for all levels of experience with special attention to newcomers. Experienced patrons may pursue independent projects with permission from the instructor. The upcoming session offers Stained Glass on Mondays from 6:00-8:30p.

Course Fee: Course fee includes scheduled class time with instruction as well as open studio hours for practice, use of studio tools, and equipment. Discounts are given to students, faculty, and staff associated with Florida State University (discounts require FSU ID).

Additional Fees: All materials are included in the course fee. 

Registration: Registration occurs in person at the Oglesby Union Art Center or by mail with inclusion of appropriate fee. You must be preregistered to attend our classes. Registration is available for until second week of classes pending availability.

Make-up Classes:  Make-up classes are not offered for the Stained Glass class. The instructor will assist any student who needs to discuss the possibility of missing class.
