Voice/ Piano Teacher Needed

Good Sam Arts is seeking a voice and/ or piano contract teacher for beginning to advanced students.

Teachers must have knowledge of music pedagogy, curricular approaches to teaching music, and a strong desire to help music students of varying ages and ability levels succeed as student musicians. We prefer candidates with a minimum of an Associates degree in music, music education, music performance, or a related field.

Our teachers create a teaching schedule based upon their availability. Must be available a minimum of four hours per week.

Music Teacher Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive music instruction to our students during group classes or private lesson times.
• Arrive five minutes early to your scheduled classes and lessons.
• Be helpful, patient, friendly, responsible and professional.
• Be enthusiastic, prompt, pro-active and efficient in communicating students, parents and staff.

Requirements For Consideration

• Have the ability and skills to teach beginner through advanced-level students
• Have experience teaching music
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
