ER for PR

The Florida Public Relations Association’s Capital Chapter is gearing up for this year’s ER for PR.  It’s an opportunity for nonprofits without full-time public relations staff to receive 90 minutes of counseling free of charge and benefit from additional breakout sessions. This year’s event will be on Thursday, July 20 at the Florida Sheriffs Association, 2617 Mahan Drive.

WANTED: Public Relations “Medics”  for the 18th Annual ER for PR! 
Help give back to our local community by volunteering to be a “medic” at our 18th Annual ER for PR. You will be paired with a local nonprofit and will have an hour to counsel them on best practices and ways to implement public awareness campaigns, special events or media relations strategies.

Medics will need to be available from 9:30 – 11:00 am on Thursday, July 20 at the Florida Sheriffs Association, 2617 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee.

ER for PR applications are due Friday, July 7 by 5 p.m. You can download the form or contact the Capital Chapter to request an application. Selected organizations will be notified by Wednesday, July 12.
