Dance Science and Dance Technology Positions

The new faculty members in both positions will share responsibilities for dance technique offerings, student mentoring and advising, and professional service at the departmental, college and university levels. The ability to teach a rigorous studio practice is essential for both positions, as is a collegiate approach to facilitating creative and critical learning environments. Encouraging fluidity across the domains involved in dance as art is a priority in our program. The new colleagues will be expected to maintain a consistent agenda of research and/or creative activity and engage in ongoing professional development in their area of expertise that leads to recognition within the dance field. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree or professional equivalence in a related field of expertise. MFA and/or PhD preferred.
