Learn about granting opportunities from the Florida Department of State, get assistance with your grant application, and talk one on one with program managers from Division of Cultural Affairs and the Division of Historical Resources.
Department of State grants staff will visit seven communities across Florida to hold workshops intended to help constituents apply for and manage grants made available by the Governor and Legislature through the agency. At the workshops, staff will present opportunities for Cultural Affairs and Historical Resources grant programs and provide optional one-on-one consultations for participants.
The Department is making a concerted effort to ensure that rural and underserved communities have access to funds allocated by the Legislature for cultural and historical programs. Many grant programs are available through the Divisions of Cultural Affairs and Historical Resources that are specifically geared toward rural and minority organizations and organizations having difficulty achieving their missions due to lack of cultural information or access to available programs.
