SimpleMan (M.W. Simpson) is a singer-songwriter, musician, producer and sound engineer with several sponsors for music projects and charity work. He is the founder and primary songwriter for the local band, Bruised Grass. A native of Tallahassee, Florida and resident of Monticello, he currently works as a songwriter and recording artist with many collaborations.
SimpleMan works as a songwriter and recording artist, releasing a debut solo acoustic effort titled SimpleMan © 2020 was written, recorded and produced by M.W. Simpson at SimpleMan Music Studios and at Jefferson Art Gallery in Monticello, Florida. Three tracks off of the cd release were recorded at Muscadine Recording Studio in Macon, GA (2015) with famed music producer Paul Hornsby. This solo effort features songs written from 1997 – 2020, these lyrics are attached below in PDF.
In September 2020, a sophomore SimpleMan solo release titled “Reflections 20/20” © was completed and released in some circles, full release TBA pending distribution deal. In November 2020, SimpleMan began a music production and publishing company. Aside from ASCAP songwriter and Publisher status, he is making efforts to pursue the licensing of his music for TV and FIlm. (To be continued)….
