I recently came across one of my daughter’s favorite old tee shirts I had put aside to make into something for her.  This inspired me to create my first Quiltatee. It was so much fun to make I decided to find more used tee shirts to transform! I have always loved sewing and quilting and using repurposed materials in my creations so this was perfect. I realized after I started collecting tee shirts from thrift stores that there is so much incredible contemporary art being displayed on tees and by turning them into Quiltatees the artwork can be appreciated for decades longer than the life of a normal tee.
