Denise Boineau

My work is inspired by and dedicated to capturing that moment in time in which motion is suspended and beauty and grit and a sense of style emerge. I paint the fashion industry from the viewpoint of an insider having been a part of the business in New York for years.  I also paint the polo match and more general paintings that display the athleticism of players and their ponies. I hope to capture that special relationship between the horse and its rider, and among horses and riders in the midst of competition. My artwork is the reflection of a life in motion. To feel and experience a life well lived and translated through a visual narrative is what interests me. Challenging the painters hand with the poets mind to create sensitivity on canvas is what inspires me. Hope is what I am searching for.
